Bio| Yiannis Biliris is a photographer / filmmaker from Greece.
His main professional experience has been gained in Athens, working in production houses and editing for the multi-awarded documentary series Exandas.

 

After few years working in his country, his will to explore and experiment different horizons led him to travel through more than 50 countries, where he documented stories such as neo-nazism in remote Mongolia, workers in one of biggest mine of Bolivia, and portrait of Greek society in Alexandra of Egypt to mention just a few. Noticed for his talent by some art galleries along the way, Yiannis then produced artwork today exposed in hospitality places of Hong Kong.

His photographs have been awarded in different international competitions. Beside his photography work, he also produced diversity of short films, including some projected during festivals internationally recognised.
